An elegant antique French silk wall panel dating from the late eighteenth to the early nineteenth century. Retaining its original shaped form and decorative brass studwork, the panel is upholstered in beautifully faded silk with delicate floral motifs in soft ivory, sage and gold tones.
Rich in patina and displaying wear consistent with its age, this piece was likely once part of a grand French interior and today makes a striking decorative statement as a wall hanging or oversized headboard.
