A beautifully decorative 19th century French cast iron urn, with a wonderfully timeworn pale painted finish and elegant neoclassical form.

The body is deeply fluted, with a broad rounded profile set above a moulded circular foot. To either side are tall scrolling handles with classical detailing, giving the piece a particularly architectural silhouette.
